Guidelines

V období vlády Rezy Šáha došlo v Íránu k výrazným společenským a politickým změnám, které měly značný dopad na postavení náboženské menšiny bahá'í. Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl podrobně zkoumat formy a intenzitu perzekuce bahá'í v tomto klíčovém historickém období, působení socioekonomických a ideologických faktorů a roli státních a nestátních aktérů v těchto procesech. Práce si klade dvě hlavní výzkumné otázky: „Jaké byly hlavní formy perzekuce, kterým bahá'í komunita čelila v období vlády Rezy Šáha a jak byly tyto formy dokumentovány v oficiálních záznamech i v bahá'í archivech?“ Přehled sociálního kontextu doby, dějinách bahá'í komunity a politické situaci v Íránu za Rezy Šáha umožní hlubší kontextualizaci a porozumění definované problematice. Metodologie bude založena na analýze a komparaci různých typů pramenů: oficiální státní dokumentace, včetně policejních zpráv a úředních listin, fatwy a novinové příspěvky budou porovnávány s dokumenty bahá’í, jako je kronika "Tárích-e zohúrolhaqq" a ostatních materiálů dostupných přes platformu Archives of Bahá’í Persecution in Iran. Sběr dat o konkrétních případech útlaku, příčinách, průběhu, aktérech a reakcích státu i obětí bude analyzován s cílem rekonstruovat a chápat narativy a diskurzy o perzekuci. Další metodologický postup bude vycházet z kritického přístupu k pramenům. Rozbor obsahu a sémantiky textů, tedy vnitřní kritika textů, bude mít za cíl analyzovat jejich jazyk, obsah a struktury a interpretovat významy a perspektivy prezentované různými aktéry. Práce přinese nový vhled do způsobů, jakými provládní a náboženské struktury perzekuci narativně konstruovaly a jak se tento narativ promítl do sociální reality a historiografie bahá'í komunity v Íránu.
