The thesis is about the situation, when a fluid or gas is interacting with a flexible material. For example a balloon that gets filled with air. But also the modeling of arteries.
The thesis would be to introduce the simple setting, where one considers a fluid in a 2 dimensional domain, which is described by (stationary) Stokes equation. A part of the 1 dimensional boundary is flexible and will be described by an ODE, interacting with the forces coming from the fluid. By a fixed point argument, we will show the existence of solutions.
