Guidelines

V posledních letech se neurovědy v akademické obci těší velkému zájmu. Také v oblasti religionistiky lze pozorovat snahu některých akademiků implementovat výsledky neurověd do religionistického bádání, a tak se začalo pracovat na ustálení metody tzv. kognitivní religionistiky.
Jaké jsou však premisy této metody, na čem má být tato metody vystavěna a jaké jsou implicitní předpoklady jednotlivých představitelů této metody? Může kognitivní religionistika nabídnout relevantní a propracovanou metodu, která obstojí v interpretaci náboženských fenoménů vedle metod antropologie, fenomenologie či sociologie?
Práce má za úkol kriticky zhodnotit možný přínos metody kognitivní religionistiky pro akademické studium náboženství i upozornit na možná skrytá nebezpečí této metody. Výhody i úskalí této metody mají být předvedeny na interpretaci rituálů antických mysterijních kultů.
