Guidelines
The CoCoME modeling example serves as a benchmark for software modeling technologies, including performance modeling. The goal of the thesis is to create a version of the CoCoME modeling example suitable for performance modeling with resource usage.

In detail, the goal of the thesis entails creating a working implementation of the CoCoME modeling example in the SOFA framework, with individual components reflecting the existing SOFA CoCoME architecture. Care must be taken to create components with realistic resource usage, especially where the middleware framework does not easily fit the component model.

Additionally, experimental support for exercising the individual components of the existing SOFA CoCoME architecture in isolation should be devised. This will facilitate measuring component resource usage without running the full application.
