Cílem práce je prostudovat z literatury Sturm-Liouvilleův rozvoj, tedy reprezentaci libovolné funkce pomocí vlastních funkcí problému vlastních čísel pro rovnici -y''(x) + q(x)y(x) = lambda y(x), s určitými okrajovými podmínkami, kde q(x) je daný potenciál. V konkrétním případě, kdy q(x) je nula, získáme standardní reprezentaci funkce pomocí Fourierova integrálu nebo Fourierovy řady. Dále, prozkoumat některé konkrétní případy okrajových podmínek a potenciálu.

Preliminary scope of work in English
The aim of the work is to study by literature the Sturm-Liouville development, i.e. expansions of an arbitrary function in terms of eigenfunctions of a eigenvalue problem for the equation -y’’(x) + q(x)y(x) = lambda y(x), with certain boundary conditions, where q(x) is a given potential. In a particular case when q(x) is zero, we obtain a standard representation of a function in terms of a Fourier integral or Fourier series. Further, investigate in detail some particular cases of boundary conditions and potential.
