Guidelines
Major objectives:

- description of principal characteristics of the stratosphere, related dynamics and underlying dynamical processes
- analysis of the solar influence and impact of the variability in the solar radiation
- investigation of the stratosphere coupling with the troposphere and mesosphere
- adaptation and utilization of a GCM with included stratospheric region (e.g.: the Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model (WACCM); a comprehensive numerical model, spanning the range of altitude from the Earth's surface to the thermosphere
http://www.cesm.ucar.edu/working_groups/WACCM/)
- investigation of recent and potential future changes in the stratosphere with focus on Brewer-Dobson circulation changes and their implications for stratospheric dynamics
- analysis of recent and potential future changes in the stratosphere in connection with increasing greenhouse gases concentration in the troposphere
