Guidelines

Ve své práci se zaměřím na některé zajímavé moderní výklady mýtu o Oidipovi. Východiskem mi bude Lévi-Straussova koncepce mýtu jakožto projevu divokého myšlení a její konkrétní ilustrace právě na mýtu o Oidipovi. Na tento přístup, který spočívá v odhalování hlubinných vztahových struktur v mýtu, navazuje Edmund Leach. Pokusím se ukázat, jak Leach důkladně rozvíjí Lévi-Straussovy principy, ale zohledňuje širší škálu mýtů a dochází k jiným závěrům. Strukturalismus originálně reinterpretuje také Terence Turner, který na rozdíl od Lévi-Strausse neodhlíží od příběhu mýtu, nýbrž jej činí středem svého výkladu. Dále bych se chtěla věnovat některým zajímavým klasicistním interpretacím mýtu o Oidipovi, jako je například intepretace Vernantova. Krátce také zmíním psychoanalytický výklad.
Ve své práci se pokusím jednotlivé výklady mýtu o Oidipovi představit, vzájemně je porovnat a poukázat tak na jejich přínosné postupy i možné mezery.
